One person can make a difference, and everyone should try.
-John F. Kennedy
We don’t need to wait around for election season in order to vote.
We vote weekly, sometimes even daily with every food purchase we make.
By voting with our dollars we are supporting either a farm, a big business, or a science lab.
That’s why it is so important to be an informed voter. The more we vote organic, non-GMO, and local, the more big companies will suffer financially, and the better off our food will be!
By shopping local and organic we are saying, “No!” to artificially flavored and colored food, “No!” to genetically modified produce, and “No!” to factory farmed meat.
Instead, we are telling farmers that we want real, unadulterated food! Your vote can, and will, make a difference! It may feel like an overwhelming task at first, but if everyone takes small steps towards one goal, we will create a movement that will result in a better future!
